If you've found us but not sure what K-Cups are then please read on. Developed by the manufacturer Keurig, K-Cups are a really convenient way to make a great cup of your favorite hot drink.
K-Cups are small pots that are designed to hold just the right amount of the coffee grounds, hot chocolate, tea leaves, etc that you need for the perfect cup of hot drink.
Each K-Cup is sealed and self contained which keeps the contents from spilling and provides enough for a single serving.
To use K-Cups, turn your Keurig brewing machine on and allow it to warm up. Place your mug under the dispensing spout and then insert the K-Cup into the machine. Within a minute your drink is ready. What happens when you insert the K-Cup is as follows. The machine pierces the top and bottom of the K-Cup so the hot water can pour over the contents, through a filter and then out through the dispensing nozzle. The filter makes sure the contents stay within the K-Cup. Alternatively if all you want is a cup of hot water (for an instant soup or similar) then simply leave the K-Cup out.
